Lisa Shanks is a professional international showjumper, cover North Scotland & to the South Of England
From a very young age, Lisa has been involved in the equestrian world and she is experienced living and competing internationally. Lisa offers personal horse training and teaching Lisa is based in Ayrshire & covers from the North Scotland & all the way down to South of England (Ireland & Wales Included). She ensures a personalised service dedicated to developing horses and riders through education, enthusiasm and leadership. Lessons are offered for all levels including children, advanced young riders and all adult riders. Her lessons focus on a well-balanced, centred and secure seat. There is an emphasis on safety and fun as well as care and respect for the horse.

Lisa is CPR and First Aid certified. She rides and trains green to grand prix, top class performance horses, producing them and competing them herself.

Lisa has experience riding racehorses, and steeplechasers and also training in Boynton Beach Florida USA which included galloping for Top Trainers such as Nick Zito's stables.

She has vast experience shipping horses regarding DEFRA requirements overseas from 5 star vettings, to arranging quarantine from Departure to Arrival and has a great rapport with her International Shippers whom she has dealt with for many years.
